IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The following is very important information regarding the course experience.

Please press the + symbol on each label to expand that section for a more detailed explanation.

✍🏾

Before taking this class, students should already be able to:

(1) count forward from 1 to 100

(2) count backward from 100 to 1

(3) recognize numbers 1 through 100

(4) understand numbers being smaller or larger

EACH MONTH we will play a DIFFERENT GAME using specific math concepts to pass the levels.

EACH WEEK we will play a DIFFERENT LEVEL of that month's game.

Learners will practice the following as they play the math games:

>>> Addition (using numbers 0-20)

>>> Subtraction (using numbers 0-20)

All children need to learn math, but let's face it . . . they'd rather be playing games with their friends.

In our Mastering Math: Virtual Gaming Club we encourage them to do both!

Our club sessions are highly interactive and sometimes competitive.

The learners will have a chance to compete against each other each week and earn rewards as they play. Not all students will win whenever we do have competitions. Learners should be able to exhibit good sportsmanship regardless if they win or lose.

👩🏾‍🏫

In order to remain in this virtual learning space, please, adhere to the following expectations:

#1 NO profane and/or offensive language. (aka "bad words")

#2 NO talking over or interrupting others while they are speaking (raise your hand and stay muted until your turn).

#3 NO distractions (including toys, random objects, distracting backgrounds, filters, etc.). Please stay seated in front of your screen throughout the entire session to help minimize distractions.

#4 NO giving answers and/or hints to the other students. (It takes away that learner’s opportunity to practice finding the answer on their own.)

#5 NO little black boxes. All learners are required to have both their camera and microphone on for the entire duration of our session (unless the instructor has given permission to do something different). This is necessary for proper class management and to ensure the engagement, participation, growth and development of each learner.

Anyone who chooses not to adhere to the above expectations will be removed from the virtual learning space.

#️⃣

Please note: The following policy does not apply to 1-on-1 sessions.

If the group session that you have enrolled your child into does not meet the required class minimum (at least seventy-two hours before the class is scheduled to begin) please let us know, which of the following would you prefer:

(1) Postpone the class start date by one week until it reaches the required minimum.

(2) Transfer your child to a day/time with students already enrolled. Same minimum.

(3) Switch the time slot to a smaller group class with a smaller minimum.

(4)  Switch the time slot to a private 1-on-1 class.

(5) Cancel the class and issue a full refund, if no one else enrolls?

For all group classes, facilitated by Kingdom Prep Educators, the class minimum enrollment must be reached at least seventy-two hours before the class is scheduled to begin. If the minimum is not reached in time, we will proceed according to the option that you have chosen/communicated above. If no option has been chosen/communicated, we will automatically proceed with either option (1) or (5), at the discretion of the educator, if no one else enrolls. Options (2), (3) and (4) will no longer be available, if they are not chosen/communicated at least seventy-two hours before the class is scheduled to start.

📹

If you are able to, please leave your camera on.

KPE kindly asks that you please consider our instructors and not subject them to talking to little black boxes for 20-40 minutes straight.

We understand that sometimes it is absolutely necessary to have your camera off and do not mind it every once in a while. However, KPE classes are designed to be interactive and highly engaging.

It is quite difficult for an instructor to facilitate that type of class environment with learners that they cannot actually see. It is also difficult for an instructor to tell if a learner understands, if they are confused, if they are paying attention or if they are being distracted by something else...without being able to see them.

For these reasons and more it is our policy that learners should come to class prepared to have their cameras on and be fully engaged in the online classroom.

💵

KPE honors the following refund policy:

. . . 100% refunded if an educator missed a scheduled class, for any reason.

 . . . 100% refunded if canceled within 24 hours of purchase.

. . . 100% refunded if canceled anytime up to 3 days before the course start date.

. . . 0% refunded if canceled less than 3 days before the course start date. These are considered late cancellations.

We will not refund missed classes or classes that are considered late cancellations. Educators are compensated (not only for the amount of time that they spend "in class" teaching, but also) for the work they do in preparation for a specific session, for the time that they spend waiting for learners to show up to a session, for the time they spend teaching during a session and for the admin work that must be completed after that session. Late cancellations also leave a gap in the educator's earning potential that cannot be filled at the last minute.
